Pancakes and Booze!

For anyone in the Seattle area, I've got a few photos I'm hanging at this show on Sat, April 13th - - $5 cover - live painting, body painting, live music, free all-u-can-eat pancake bar, and booze (not free...lol).
Here is the flyer for the show - - and a few of the pics i'll be showing. I'd love to see some fellow explorers there!

I'd probably go if I were in Seattle ... is that a wooden passenger rail car?

Yes....and it is a magnificent site....just sitting in the middle of a field. The pic below it is the interior. It is a mystery how and why it is there...and i love it!

That is rad. It actually looks fairly intact! Maybe you heard, Tri-Met recently uncovered a similar rail car inside a building that was being demolished for the new MAX line here in Portland. We didn't get to it before they gutted it of its fixtures, but we at least got to see and touch it before they tore it completely apart.

YES.....i did hear about that......beautiful pic...love the angle and the moodiness of the sky. Why on EARTH would you dismantle a piece of history such as this..? (rhetorical....knowing that it's because people are idiots). thanks for sharing.

It looks like it was pretty far gone for a restoration. At least they saved all the cool fixtures from the inside instead of just throwing it all away.

Man I always miss stuff cause I work Saturdays.
