Hmm. Well I have a crick in my neck now. Was it an artistic choice to not orient the photos correctly, or just a laziness choice?

Otherwise, good location. I had fun there myself.

Made it out there today. Didn't have time to find the power station but will try and get back out next week.

Went there this weekend. We were sitting up top, a bat flew up out of the pit and circled around our heads a few times, and then went out the window. Place is great.

Appears to have some new art work I side. I started exploring this place years ago. We frequent the plant about every month but always have the kids so no going inside with them. We ride the pit on our quads. The old truck is by the boat launch. One of my favorite places.... Devils Tower.

Play hard or die tryin.

Good to know this place (the power plant) still exists. I should check it out again soon. My first and last visit was with my dad ~25 years ago -- when I was only 12 years old! I was already a major electricity nut with a huge collection of old insulators, so an abandoned power plant was my idea of heaven.

There might have been a bit less graffiti back then...
