[insert comment about how many new people we're getting]

Evenings/nights are a great time to explore, even if night isn't that great for photography. I think Urbexinc works a night shift, though, so we'd have to make sure it didn't conflict with that. I'm sure we can adapt to everyone's needs.

Or we could meet at the regular time and then you meet up with us later.

I live in Round Rock some of the time and happen to be there now. I'm also bored a lot when I'm in the suburbs. So if anyone is around here and wants to explore some abandoned houses or something then drop me a line.

At night/evenings would actually work better for me too. I usually have off Saturday nights and don't wake up till like 5pm anyway so that would be easier on me too...even if I do get scheduled I can get someone to cover my shift pretty easily. But I also know sometimes we explorer all afternoon and then on into the night and evenings so I personally am down for whatever..I usually wake up early to make it to the meetups anyway.

But Tuesdays and Wednesdays are also really good for me too...usually my other 2 days off and since you both are in Round Rock perhaps we could go do some exploring there Tues or Wed this week or something. Let me know if you guys are interested.

This Tuesday's no good for me but Wednesday would be great. Let's go explore the sprawl.

I guess I should probably write something down here.

Don't know if I'll be at this next one or not until tomorrow, but I think we should look into this:

I've never actually gotten around to checking it out, as it's kinda way the hell out, but it's there in the most recent Google update (though we all know that it is sometimes a filthy liar.)

That's a concrete factory. I, too, have really been wanting to get out and see that place but haven't because it's far out. So let's do it.

Also found this place a little further down the road that might be worth while:

At first I glanced over it because it doesn't look too old but the parking lot on one side is overgrown and looks like not a whole lot of maintenance on the property as of recent has been done plus no cars...but then agin this could of been taken on a Sunday when everything's closed too you never know but I'll drive by it and check both this and the other one out before the meetup and find out

Edit: actually nevermind...I think that was part of the Travis State School and so I deleted the photo since it had street intersections listed to keep people from being tempted into going there

On google maps there appears to be some cool ruins of a house right down the street. Off of Regiene rd.

I never realized there was a small, abandoned neighborhood behind the old State School.

http://maps.google...maps?q=Delwau+Lane,+Austin,+TX&hl=en&ll=30.267733,-97.635426&spn=0.002166,0.00284&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=45.418852 ,93.076172&t=h&z=19

Unfortunately, the only roads in seem to cross with the used areas of the school.

Yeah I saw that....those are supposedly the only accesible buildings on the property but Idk for sure haven't been. But I'm pretty sure that's still part of the state school, it was probably housing for certain disabled children

If I'm not mistaken, these were group homes and part of the school.

Parking can get interesting around there. It would almost be easier to ride a bike there or something.

So, was I the only one who showed up today? Because I was at Opal's until 2, after which I decided to drive down to San Marcos. (Not for UE, though.)
