Abandoned Homes

Been driving by this place all the time, and finally remembered to bring my camera. As far as I can tell, it's been unoccupied for a ling time now. It's now on the market, largely for the land I would venture to guess. I'd like to go back and take a look through the main house since it was so easily accessible. Were I not wearing shorts, I probably would have gone inside. I'll definitely go back soon.

This other place is a prime piece of land with a surprise in the garage. Much like the first house, it has obviously been vacant for quite some time. Why someone would just leave a car behind is beyond me. There was a nosy neighbor, so I wasn't able to explore as much as I'd have liked. I definitely plan on going back some time soon.

I love how moss and greenery grows on everything out there. Nice set.

Thanks for the kind words.

Yeah, Washington is a very green state, especially Western Washington.

Based on the plate I'd say it was a '63 but I'm probably wrong.

Looks like a 1964 ford thunderbird

The 63 had rounded tail lights looking more like a falcon. Could be built in 63 but a 64 model year. My 63 nova is the same way. Its technically a 62 but its a 63 model year.

It could be yours ask the DOL about a salvage vehicle title. Could also be too far gone to save but it looked like the rear window was only recently shattered. The interior looked clean. New gas tank, carb job, fuel pump, oil change, plugs, battery, probably starter and she might fire right up. There are a few members on here who have salvaged classics you could pm one of them to ask about the process. If the property and car have no private owner you can obtain a salvage title.

You are probably right. I'm not too familiar with Fords.

Thanks for the help. If only I had the time/money/space to fix it up. Poor T-Bird needs a little TLC for sure.
