Yeah, me, Harlan, and a couple of his friends waited up on the upper cafe area outside until...I'd say 2:30-ish, then went inside WF to see if we could find anyone that was lost. I had to duck out not long after that, because I felt sick.

Hopefully next month we get all the details sorted out.

Hey guys, yeah it's kindof a pain to get this thing organized.. especially since we have to be so careful with details online :/

I am usually good for exploran any time on weekends, and weekdays after 5pm. I know that the 26th and 27th I won't be able to do ue stuffs.

Also, to make finding each other easier, I am always willing to give my cell# via pm.

I'm open for exploring most Saturdays after 1 P.M (Not these two upcoming Saturdays, though), so I can give my mobile number to anyone who needs it.

I might like to be a part of that, possibly.

Also, I'm the long-haired fellow with the glasses, in case I forgot to introduce myself yesterday.

I guess I should probably write something down here.

those of you who are going to be at the next meet & greet, lets discuss the actual meeting spot. I love whole foods, but it has been hard to find each other.
commence brainstorming.

It would be cool to meet IN an abandonment.. but that is just an idea. There are plenty of courtyard/sitting areas downtown, and are public. Doesn't matter to me really.

We had pretty good luck at Opal's, when we were on the deck.

Random thoughts on meeting places:

The thing about meeting in an abandonment is pretty awesome concept but it seems like it could get complicated. It also might be more intimidating for people new to the meet-ups.

I personally am a huge fan of food. I think meeting somewhere that involves food in some way or another is a good way to facilitate the "meeting and greeting" part of the meet-n-greet. Also if anybody comes very late than the other people can wile away some of the time waiting by consuming things.

Whole Foods is simply too large, it seems. Who came up with that idea, anyways? What a moron.

So yeah, a small place that has food and air-conditioning. Opal's works just fine, I think, other than being a wee bit expensive for those of more frugal tendencies.

I guess I should probably write something down here.

We could try someplace like Sandy's, but I know parking over there can get pretty scarce, especially on weekends.

I have no idea. But I didn't make it to this one, because something else came up.

I also didn't make it this time either...I have off this next Saturday the 28th if anyone is down for some exploring then....just let me know when and where to meet and I'm down...preferably around 2pm though. I have a couple locations that may require a little drive but I am willing to drive people if everyone else is down for going to the places I have in mind...or I have also found a couple potential locations in Austin but haven't tried to get in yet but they do look accessible from what I've seen. PM me if your interested.

Well no one going is much better than a few confused people going, at least. We'll plan it out better next time.

Soon school will be over and meeting up will be a lot easier for me.

I'd be willing to pitch in for gas to check out more distant locations, too. Most of my exploration has been within walking distance of downtown, so far.

I guess I should probably write something down here.
