I'll never forget leaning against that wall arms crossed, waiting, then here comes Mad Eye with his bright ass headlamp shining everywhere. Then i hear, "Is he with you too?" [d'oh] I lol'ed that.

The redbull was a nice touch. Got some good pics of it. I will post some up as soon as i repair my windows boot log and get back into my CPU.

Glad to be a part of that meet up. Can someone recommend me for full member status? I have a lot that i want to contribute to the database...

I think we need walkie-talkies or something for our little convoys. It'd be useful for when we get separated by traffic.

This meet was awesome, can't wait to see what we do next month.

Was fun, a smaller group.. checked out da drain.

Also, we brought up the idea of a different meet up location.. I guess it would be good to have the location close to some places to check out and what not.. but it is just an idea right now I guess.. Austin guys should chime in with ideas mehbeh??

edit: I was thinking maybe we can meetup somewhere other than a restaurant as well. Like maybe just a random public place, or some other interesting location.

different meeting locations would be cool, perhaps we could cycle between some different places in different areas of Austin/the surrounding cities.

The Hutto/Taylor area would be good, especially since Taylor has a lot of abandoned buildings. The downside is that there's a pretty big police presence there - it's Taylor. It's not as though they have any real work to do.

As far as meeting-places around Austin, I might recommend Whole Foods. It's near several locations, there's good food, and it has a lot of seating.

Specifically, there's a spacious dining area on the roof which always seems to be rather empty, even during lunch hours.

I guess I should probably write something down here.

If we're changing the meeting location, the event notice needs to be changed, as well, so we don't have anyone standing around, confused at Opal's.
