| | | Howzit UE! I've always had a penchant for exploring, be it buildings, storm drains, tunnels, caves, or whatever I can find. Lately, as more and more life has gotten in the way (tell me again why adults are supposed to work?), I haven't been able to indulge very much. Just moved to Sacramento, CA from Kaneohe, HI (and Hawaii had lots of great places to explore, though most were military related), and looking for anyone else that's interested too. I've heard there are some old tunnels beneath Sac, and I'm going to hit up an archivist friend for some more information on the area. I'll see if I can can add some photos from the last couple years in Hawaii at the bottom of this thing...

| | | Hey =) I'm Lacy, and I live in a small town near Mansfield, Ohio. I'm 19, and have been into ghost hunting, urban exploring, and photography since I turned 16. I haven't been able to do a whole lot of anything lately, so I'm trying to get back into it... My favorites are old schools and hospitals. Not particularly interested in industrial sites...Good to be here! Peace.

| | | I'm currently in Long Beach CA. Did a lot of draining and abandoned buildings when I was a kid. Civil Engineering is my background, so buildings, bridges, and pretty much any infrastructure is interesting to me. Looking to check out some new spots. Later.

Which small town? I live in Cleveland and have been to Mansfield many times, mostly to go to Boy Scout Camp (which is now closed) with my kids.

| | | Howdy from Dallas! I am new to all of this; but very interested in UE. When I was a child; I got to creep around a few abandoned farms on some land my family owned, and thought it was tremendously cool. One of the old houses is still there; but virtually impossible to get to through all the bamboo that has grown around the place. Next time I'm in the area I'm going to go back in and check it out! Thanks for listening; and I look forward to meeting the locals soon! Michael

| | | hey everybody! new member here from Tampa, FL. i've done a lot of UE here about 14 yrs ago or so, and it wasnt until recently that a friend of mine got the bug back in me to go exploring again. it's a shame that all the great spots i had back then are either parking lots or high level condos now.
looking to hopefully meet up with some other local UE's and find some spots that noone knows about yet

| | | Greetings, I've been lurking here for a while and have been into urban exploring for quite some time. I suppose for me the attraction of an abandoned building is as much why it was left, as what was left. I will keep it short and just say I really dig this site and some of the wonderful images of decay and the passing of time. I will post more images in the future. If anyone in the southern peninsula of the San Francisco bay area(San Jose) has any tips I am willing to trade info or meet-up, as I find it harder to find sites here than the North bay. Cheers!

| | | Hello World! I've been exploring for as long as I can remember but this is the first community I've encountered. I live in Idaho(Nampa), but I'm going to school in the California Bay Area. I'm more than willing to go on a trip if anyone knows a site that's close by. I'll also be on the lookout, and I'll probably upload some pics relatively soon. Summer guarantees I have the free time.

I know exactly which camp you're talking about. We had band camp there freshman year. I went to check it out last year and there are cameras everywhere...

| | | Hi everyone! I’m Kate from New Jersey. Just like most of you, I’ve been doing my own version of urban exploring for a few years now and just recently discovered this forum. Most of my friends around here are either too busy or not interested in this stuff, so I’d love advice, help, or company for any of my trips.

| | | Hi. I'm Mazie, very new to exploring, wanted to introduce myself and let you all know I plan on diving into this head first, armed with all the tips from the "experts" I think I'm ready to kick ass and take names. I hope to post some pics very soon of my awesome find(s). I also plan to get in better shape if I'm going to be squeezing and rappelling into these locations, and or run from the law.. Stay tuned.....

Hi, new member here. Love checking out old abandoned places and thinking what they must have been like back in the day. I hate seeing the places go to rot while multi-million dollar buildings go up. Reuse, recycle and restore the old first. Great website and thanks for all the pics and info. Once I figure out how to upload I'll post pics of my haunts.
