| | | We were given flashlights for testing by Russian dealers company Fenix. Fenix is our partner. We tried to take into account many suggestions from our users. If you want, what we would have tested any model flashlight - write, either in our forum http://diggers.su/...wthread.php?t=3942, either in this topic. Thank you for your positive feedback.

| | | Hot damn. Thank you much! May I suggest you crosspost this in Metawaffle's Flashlights, Torches, and Light Painting subforum? The lighting geeks tend to hang out there.

Surefire sponsored it. Roll over to CandlePowerForums and look around for Surefire stuff. Guard your wallet.

| | | Thank you very much for this incredible post. Very informative. So informative that it took about an hour or more to go through all the lights and see what the prices were. LOL Anyone else notice the INCREDIBLE price to throw ratio on the MXDL SA-28 Q5? That thing is bloody incredible, and it's only 15$. Quality evaluation to follow. . . it's on it's way. But if it lasts a few months I'll be laughing. Has good reviews so far. One question: How far apart are your signs? Are they at 10, 20, and 30 meters? How far away is that back wall?

| | | This is really impressive. Thanks! You can go on candlepowerforums and read up on flashlights all day, but it doesn't beat seeing a real test. I own a PD30 as well.

When you read the LEDLenser specs, there's something you should know. The lumens listed are the absolute maximum that the LED can possibly make. As far as I can tell you should expect 15% less at maximum due to optics losses. Also, the "Rated run time" is ridiculously long. You'll actually want to replace the batteries within an hour or two. The gradually-dimming nature of direct drive lights with crummy batteries is kind of annoying. Their lights aren't bad, they just charge an awful lot of them. We people on the Flashlights, Torches and Light Painting forum can help you pick a good light for your needs and budget.
