The Concrete Enigma

I have no idea what this place is. The structure is made of concrete. Walls, floor, ceiling - all concrete. The windows have heavy metal shutters. At first glance it kind of looks like an old military building. It's near the airport, so it might have had something to do with communications as there is an old aerial around back and some heavy duty cables. But that's just a wild guess. There are a few more buildings on this site that I am going to explore as well. Back into the black berry bushes I go. Cheers,
-M.

Damn, i thought this thread was about concrete ENEMAS. My bad. I really should read the topic header a little more closely. And where in BC, or Canadian Texas is this?

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!

hmm good find. by the metal shutter's on the window's it almost look's like it could have been a military building but almost look's how do i say. i guess it look's almost to newly abandon to be a military building yet with all tho's concrete walls it probably may have been, or just and old part of the air field, either way, whatever it is good find and good luck on finding out what it is/was used for.

Yeah, SD it looks too recent to be a wartime military location.

Looks like a radio shack to me.

Nice find, mike!

If it was a military bunker for some sort, it would have poured cement walls, not block walls... they suck for explosions. Unless thats an interior wall in the photo.

not entirly true ive seen many military installations with block wall's (of course there has been block fill done) but if it is a radio shack as Ferrum said there is a possibility of just block's being there, for it is inland and would not have been intended to see any explosion, or combat, by the look's of it, it is an interrer wall. i do agree that most installations are straight cement wall's but i can without going to see this location that it is not a "bunker" "bunker can mean many things" but this was definitely not a blast bunker you can tell from the extier pic, the extier look's as if it is full cement?
i could be entirly wrong tho

Sorry, I was referring to the possibility of it being some sort of cold war nuclear bunker or harden shelter (which wouldn't be made of blocks).

sall good haha i definitely agree that one of those would not be made of block's (blcokfill or not) lol, i dont think there's many of thos in BC if there are there sure to be underground.
