Explored some sites (fixed images)

I just joined here recently and i just wanted to show some sites I visited in the past few days. One of these place Memphians should know about, the other, I kinda doubt anyone will know about even if i pinpointed the location exactly for you. Really wish I owned a camera. For now I'll show some satellite images and stuff.
This is an old machining and shipping complex of some sort, all abandoned, nothing in it but some old parts and some that were still sealed in the box they were shipped in. In the very last building from the road we found some sketchy family photos and some arm chairs.

We entered through an old over grown gravel road on the right side of the complex. We were wondering what was at the end of the road but it was late and we were tired. I came home and got on google earth and found this....

We decided to go back and found the house half fallen in with no much in it.

The next site many will recognize,

Good old celebration station, looked just like when I was a kid. Minus the miniature golf course, and all the games inside. We even got to the roof, which was a decent view.

Again need a camera, but had some fun.

Aside from the fact that your images didn't work, it's nice to hear you are out there exploring. I hadn't even thought to go that far out Hwy. 64 exploring, and I'm surprised to hear that you found anything more than rotting old wooden shacks, let alone a large complex.

Dude, you gotta get a camera, even if it's a cheap point and shoot to document these things, though. Check out the pawn shops around the area. You can almost certainly find something cheap and workable.

I look forward to hearing from you more.

We have a Celibration Station in Knoxville too. They changed it to Zuma fun center. No more mini golf but they kept most the little buildings and what not.

I wanna take my car on that go cart track. The skid marks would be so black and deep you could see them from satellite haha

Any remains of the old Lakeland like the sky ride towers?

All remains of the drag strip are gone arent they?

The sky ride and stuff like that is long gone, but there are still bits and pieces of the drag strip left. It was all there until about 2 or 3 years ago when they started a neighborhood. Which they have seemed to stop construction on.
