There you go...Uncle Kubla wants all his puppies to come home safely at the end of the day.
| "Too many puppies are being shot in the dark. Too many puppies are trained not to bark. At the sight of blood that must be spilled so that We may maintain our oil fields. Too many puppies Too many puppies are taught to heal. Too many puppies are trained to kill. On the command of men wearing money belts that buy Mistresses sleek animal pelts. Too many puppies. Too many puppies with guns in their hands. Too many puppies in foreign lands. Are dressed up sharp in suits of green and Placed upon the war machine. Too many puppies are just like me. Too many puppies are afraid to see. The visions of the past brought to life again, Too many puppies, too many dead men."
| I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |

| | | Posted by NinjaKlutz What are you implying? And why are you suddenly mentioning locations that haven't been mentioned in about 100 pages of forum? Hmm. Maybe you're trying to encourage us. To find the rest of the tunnels, that is. To find them all, not just to look into the 2 "giveaway" ones.... Gee. Exploring downtown again. After my last experiences, i'm still pretty reluctant to do anything past Quadra.....but maybe it's time to get back at it sometime, maybe this winter, when more people are indoors. And i KNOW for fact there's more than two.
| I'm not implying anything. I'm saying outright: Fisgard and Store. Just two of several. That's a fact.

| | | Posted by NinjaKlutz So essentially, the thread was meant to find the secret brick tunnels, which have been infiltrated by the GCG, and so the thread was "over" a long time ago. Now the search has shifted to searching for larger conduits under the city, as well as being a helpful vehicle for newer folks (such as me) to learn about the general underground and get involved with urbex in Victoria. And to blab about the Dayglo Abortions. Is that correct?
| There's always more than the simple facts/rumours/anacdotes that have been presented throughout this thread. There's always more. Why? Personally, I'd like to know why the various personalities etc. have maintained this secret, and how they've managed to do it and convince so many others for so long. That part has never been explained to any degree of satisfaction. I still want to get into that 'secret hotel' someone told me about a couple of dozen pages ago. I met the dude, we went to the location, and then we sort of stood there considering options. Apparently, he got in. I haven't seen the inside, and I still want to get inside. There are other locations throughout the city...some unrelated to this particular effort...but nonetheless are part of a broader effort. The Dayglos are something else. Frankly, I was never into punk. And I'm not even into golf, but Bonehead tells me it's very relaxing. Which is funny coming from him, because he is the furthest thing from looking relaxed I've ever met. Maybe he's reading this...I have no idea. But I've asked him about tunnels etc. and he shrugs and says 'I dunno' which is kinda odd given that he's grown up around here all his live-ling days (being a drummer in a band might have done something to his memory/general operating system), and his business is located in an old building in the main d/t area and is it at all likely that he might have access to a basement in his building etc. but no he won't go there. And yes, this thread serves to introduce the curious to urbex in Victoria. Tourist season sees the HIT count spike to unusually high numbers, which means that when people Google 'tunnels in Victoria' their first or second hit leads them to this site, and to this thread. Maybe Av should be getting a percentage from Tourism Victoria. And I KNOW that those folks read this thread fairly regularly. Anyhoo. Customs House...check it out.
