Heck I don't even know if one has been held before, but none the less we are going to have one. I am shooting for Saturday April 18th 2009. I figured a Saturday would be a good day because we can do some exploring that day/night and possibly on Sunday. This would still give out of of state members a chance to get home before work/school on Monday. If anyone has any good idea's for a location for it let me know. I have one in mind and I know we can pull it off there. Plus parking is a breeze there... We will have BBQ and chips.. Drinks will be up to everyone else to bring on their own. Should be a great time with a lot of awesome people. I am personally looking forward to meeting some of you! -James Update 1) Well everyone it is only a few months away. We have the place picked out and preperation is under way. If anyone has any places they are wanting to explore while you are in St.Louis please let me know via PM. We are going to start a list of places to head out to after the bbq. Update 2) 2-24-09 We are now less than 2 months away and I have all the locations picked out and mapped. I have a feeling this is going to turn into a two day event if anyone can make arrangements to stay that long. As far as the BBQ goes it might not make it as planned. So if the BBQ does not happen I will find a place locally that will accommodate all of us, and I will throw in $75 to help out the people who are coming in from out of town. There is a place here in St.Louis named "Pappy's BBQ". They have awesome food and a pretty cool environment. I also know the cook there so I am going to see if we can "reserve" the place for that Saturday. Update 3) 4-8-09 Ok we are not BBQing. I did not have any help from some of the locals and can not do it all myself. So I got us reservations for Blueberry Hill. They have pretty decent food and a nice atmosphere. Our reservations are for 12pm. Also if you plan to eat you will need ***CASH***. They still do it old school here and will not divide up the checks.
